  • This view depicts the Resource Utilization by comparing actual hours booked as a percentage of total resource availability grouped and totaled by OBS Unit in a hierarchical fashion.  Resource availability is determined by the working days and daily availability on the individual Resource Calendar and is depicted on a Monthly basis.  This portlet uses Monthly Times and the Time Slice job may need to run before the end user will see results in the portlet.  The portlet filters for Project Activity, Resource Open for Time, Resource Activity, and Employment time have been added to OBS Type and the Start and Finish dates.

  • Resource Availability – 4 Weeks is a grid portlet that displays all resources with their total allocated hours by week, and an average availability percent (4 Wk Avail %) for next four weeks.  If % Available is negative, this indicates an over-allocation.  Zero% Average Availability indicates fully allocated (no remaining availability). Filterable by Role, Resource, Resource Type, Full-Time/Part-Time, Availability Range.  Contractor Type is a custom attribute (Lookup - String) created on the Resource object. It is attached to the lookup, Contractor Type (Lookup ID: REGO_CONTRACTOR_TYPE) that has static values Part Time (PT) and Full Time(FT).
  • Resource Financial Settings portlet provides resource managers a single place to view financial settings of various resources. It is a grid portlet that displays Resource details such as Name, Email, Manager, Employment Type, Is Active?, Is Open for Time?, Resource Class, Transaction Class and Department. You can further narrow your search by Resource(s), Active, Open for Time, Employment Type, Resource Class, Transaction class and Department.

  • This Bar Chart Portlet displays a vertical bar for every Practice (Resource OBS) per Month.  The bar represents the Utilization % (Resource Allocations divided by Resource Availability). Filters are provided for Resource OBS (Units and Descendants) and the date range to be displayed.
  • The User Activity portlet is in essence an expansion of the out of the box User List by License Type portlet, which only display the Last Logged In date of resources.  This portlet offers several additional fields to help admins dig deeper into user activity within the tool.   • The Timesheet Notes portlet displays all timesheet notes split out by resource, investment and task.  This is very useful in situations where you want to review multiple notes as you do not have to open each note separately. The table below describes the available filter fields in the portlet.

  • The Resources Demand Summary portlet displays the total Estimate to Complete (ETC’s) for Resources. The portlet displays the total per time scale value selected per resource and a grand total of all ETC’s for the selected time period. Filtering capabilities allow the user to filter by an individual resource, resource manager, time scale values, dates, and OBS. The portlet provides a Resource Manager with a single location to view ETC’s by Resource.

  • The Grant Approve Time to Proxy process utilizes the proxy feature within Clarity to assign timesheet approval and edit rights to a proxy for any resources that the user is the current resource manager for. The process, when run, will also remove any timesheet approval and edit rights for any users if the proxy has been removed or the resource manager has changed. This process is used for resource managers that will be out of the office.
