  • The Rego PowerBI Reporting Suite features close to 100 free PowerBI reports, designed to enhance project management and reporting capabilities.
  • The Capacity vs. Demand by Role report provides visibility into resource utilization by comparing available capacity to actual demand across investments at the role level. It highlights capacity, demand, and remaining capacity, helping identify potential surpluses or shortfalls. Data can be viewed by week or month and displayed in either hours or full-time equivalents (FTEs) to support detailed workforce planning and analysis.
  • The Allocation Compliance by Resource (Resource Manager) portlet gives a view of resource allocation compliance for all active resources the logged in user is the Resource Manager for.  It allows the RM to see resources they manage over the coming months and whether they are over or under allocated.  This portlet leverages the daily allocation and daily availability slices as well as only active investments.  The portlet provides filters for specific dates, filtering by resource ID, and resource name may also be added.
  • This training document is a Rego Consulting Quick Reference Guide to assist with utilization of the Staffing page in Clarity’s Modern User Experience.  This doc references version 16.1 views. Document provides detail on the layout and capabilities of the Staff Grid as well as the Allocations Timeline. Information is provided on columns, widgets and filtering. Instructions are provided on how to save Views. Summary information is provided on the layout of the Allocation Timeline and includes detail on the Investment Timeline and the Resource Histogram. Investment Timeline summary contains information on the Allocations by Investments and the Allocations by Resources tabs. While the Resource Histogram section provides screenshots on Resource Availability and Resources by Role.
  • “Resources with No Basic Matrix Entry” portlet displays combinations of project and resource where the assigned resource does or does not have a rate established for that project.  Portlet is filterable by Projects, Project ID, Resources, and Missing Rate (Yes, No, All). How does this work?  The Rate Matrix Extraction job populates a record into the NBI_PROJ_RES_RATES_AND_COSTS table for every resource/project combination that meets any of the rate matrix criteria.  This portlet checks that table, and sets the Missing Rate attribu
  • Allocation Compliance for PM report gives a view of resource Allocation percentage for active resources on the team of an investment for a selected Investment Manager. It allows the PM to see resources on their project over the coming months and whether they are over or under allocated. Allocation Percentage is calculated as (‘Allocated Hours’ / ‘Available Hours’) * 100. User can further narrow their search Month Start Date and Investment Manager. User can use exact dates or relative dates for Month Start Date filter parameter.

  • This Portlet allows users to quickly access Documents they uploaded into Projects via the Classic UI à Collaboration tab or via the New UX Documents module.  Clicking on the File Name downloads the file, clicking on the Options gear allows users to export the list to Excel.
  • A Quick Reference Guide that covers how to staff a Team in Clarity’s Modern UX.  It reviewes some of the key terminology, covers Allocation vs. ETC, accessing the Staffing Tab, and viewing time-scaled allocations.
  • The idea allocation uploader allows you to import in allocations from an external Excel spreadsheet.  Populate an Excel template with required fields then import them directly from the Clarity UI.  Once imported you’ll see the allocations right on the Team tab of the Idea.
  • This technical trick provides a supported method for removing team members from a project programmatically.  This is a XOG-based solution that might be called by a gel script in a process workflow.  Limitation is that the resource must NOT have actuals booked.
  • The Capacity vs Allocation by OBS report is a transaction based Jaspersoft report that does not require the Load Jaspersoft Datawarehouse job to be run.  The report will pull real-time data from the transaction tables in Clarity.  This report can be run from either the Advanced Reporting or Reports and Jobs area within Clarity. The Capacity vs. Allocation by OBS report displays resource capacity and demand across investments. The report can be grouped by any OBS level, providing visibility into resources at any level of the organization. The report displays amounts by week or month, and in total. The amounts can be displayed as hours or FTEs.
