  • No matter how hard we try, many organizations cannot pry Excel out of the hands of project and resource managers. In this class we will explore possibilities that give up the battle and embrace Excel as a great data entry tool. We will show some neat case studies on quick Excel integrations deployed at customers.
  • The Auto-Approve Old Timesheets workflow process can be run through the "Execute a Process" job and may be used to quickly close out timesheets for a specified timeframe for period closure.  The workflow will execute a query that will automatically approve ALL (no matter the status of the timesheet) timesheets that have a time period start date before the Approve Date specified within the process itself.
  • The Job Schedule Details portlet shows al jobs and displays all of the scheduled and non-scheduled information for those jobs – including the months, days, hours, and minutes.  It also displays the last time the job was updated and whether or not the job was custom or a CA job.  The portlet will help the administrator understand the current job schedule configuration. The table below describes the available columns in the portlet. The first 10 are configured in the default view:

  • The Audit Trail portlet displays information about audited attributes.  It is nearly identical to the view and functionality of the “Global Audit Trail” offering on the admin side.  It offers filters for the Object ID (resource internal id, project internal id, etc.), Object Name (Jim Brown, Project A, etc.), Changed By, a date range for the changed date and the operation of the change.  It is capable of reporting on the following:
    • Object (Resource, Project, etc.)
    • Object Name (Jim Brown, Project A, etc.)
    • Parent Name (if the object were a sub-object)
    • Attribute code (the attribute id from the attributes list on the object)
    • Operation (Update, Insert, Delete)
    • Changed By
    • Old Value
    • New Value
    • Date Changed
  • A Quick Reference Guide to assist in setting up a login message that users can see whenever they log into Clarity. QRG walks through the configuration steps. Message Severity and duration can also be setup.
  • A Quick Reference Guide to assist in the use of the Objectives Board View. The view options allow you to customize the Board layout. Options include Columns, Swimlanes, Color and Labels.

  • This training document is a Rego Consulting Quick Reference Guide to assist with General Navigation in Clarity’s Modern User Experience.  This doc references version 16.3 views.  Doc reviews the Menu Bar and User Tool Bar. Document provides instructions on how to access blueprints, create a new blueprint and edit the fields available on the blueprint. Detail is also provided on how to update the modules, rules and actions associated with a blueprint. Instructions are listed to show the user how to modify the create from template page, how to add a new channel and how to set a default blueprint.  Tips on the user of the API Attribute ID are also provided.
