The Investment Assignments by Task report provides a detailed breakdown of effort at the task-assignment level for each investment. It displays both actuals and estimates for resource assignments, along with task status, percent complete, and assignment start and finish dates. Totals are available at the investment level, making it easy to analyze workload, progress, and effort distribution across tasks and resources. -
Late Tasks with Assignments report displays the list of all Tasks (with their Total ETC Hours) that are not closed but are past their finish date or past their baseline finish date. The report provides Project Manager the ability to view and track late tasks across multiple projects without going into each project individually. This report displays Project Name, Project Manager, Task Name, Task Status, Task Start Date, Task Finish Date, Days Old (Elapsed days between Task Finish Date and Today's Date), Days Late (Elapsed days between Task Finish date and Task Baseline Finish date). User can further narrow their search by Task Name, Task Status, Project ID, Project Name, Project Manager, Is Milestone?, Is late?, Task Start Date, Task Finish Date and Is Template?. User can use exact dates or relative dates for Task Start Date and Task Finish Date filter parameters. -
The primary purpose of roles is to determine the amount of resource requests based on unapproved (uncommitted) and approved (committed) projects. Roles are non-named resources which are later allocated to named resources within CA PPM. Using roles is the best way to do "What If" scenario planning and determine needed capacity. This document assists in making Best Practice decisions around setting up roles in Clarity. -
The Lock Inactive Users workflow process will automatically lock all user accounts when their last login date was more than 60 days ago. The process can be scheduled to run daily or can be run on demand when resource account cleanup is needed. -

The Locked Resources portlet displays all resources that are locked within Clarity. It also displays the resource manager and last updated date for the user. The portlet can be filtered on resource manager and last updated date range. This portlet can be used by an administrator to determine which resources are locked by the system. -

The Missing Time by OBS portlet displays all missing or late timesheets for resources staffed within a specific OBS. Resources will be included if they are open for time entry, have the track mode of ‘Clarity’ and have a timesheet that is not posted. The portlet accommodates for hire and termination dates. Also, the portlet only shows resources that the active user has the security rights to view. Administrators and the Project Management Office may use this portlet to determine the timesheet status of all resources within a specific OBS in open time periods. This portlet allows a user to quickly search by OBS and view all timesheets under that area. After selecting the OBS, the user can also filter on time period start date, Resource Manager and/or Project Manager. The portlet will display a ‘Stop Light’ indicator based on timesheet status, the status, period start, Resource Name, Resource Manager and any actual hours entered for the timesheet. -
