  • Connect with user and get familiar with them via Office 365/Azure Profile photos synced with the Clarity PPM Avatars. This is a good way to collaborate with the team and users for any quick update or interaction. This is a scheduled process in Clarity named Sync Profile Photo from Office 365 and will be scheduled to run as a job. When the process is executed, it will be setting the Microsoft O365 profile photo into the users Avatar photo in Clarity PPM and optionally, sync custom attribute of the Resource with profile photo, which can be used for quick identification of the user. Sync Process come with some parameters for the Support team, which they can use as per there environment configurations. These some important Gel parameters for quick configuration are:
    • msProfilePicField : Custom Resource Field to store Photo, if not provided process will skip syncing the custom field.
    • msTenantId: Microsoft Azure Tenant Id
    • msClientId:  Microsoft Azure Application client Id
    • msClientSecret:  Microsoft Azure Application client Secret
    • msTeamPhotoSize: Define size of the photo to be fetched
    • syncPPMAvatar: Parameter to Sync PPM User Avatar photo from MS Team

  • This portlet displays the actual hours resources entered against investments. The per-period actual hours can be showed in days, weeks, months, quarters, or years. The data can be filtered by Resource, Resource Manager, OBS Unit, Investment and time period
  • The All Tasks portlet displays all tasks related to active projects that the logged in user has view rights to.  The portlet provides the project manager a single place to view tasks across multiple projects without having to go into each project individually, and allows for more efficient management and reporting across projects. The portlet displays project actuals and estimates from the project (datamart tables). The portlet allows analysis like:
    • PMs may have several critical tasks that were supposed to start on a certain date.  To verify progress, they filter for that start date to perform a review of the tasks.
    • PMs can review days late to see how tasks are doing against the baseline date (<7 days is green, 7-14 is yellow, and >14 is red)
    • PMs can review days old to see how tasks are doing against today’s date (<7 days is green, 7-14 is yellow, and >14 is red)
The table below describes the available columns in the portlet. The first 10 are configured in the default view:
    Column Label Description
    Project ID Unique project identifier
Project Name Name of the project
Project Manager Manager of the project
Task Name Name of the task
Task Status Not Started, Started, or Completed
Task Start Start Date of this task
Task Finish Finish Date of this task
  • The All Status Reports portlet displays any published Status Report related to a project or across multiple projects. The filter then allows the user to narrow their search by Project Manager, Project, Status or Overall Status Category (overall, cost & effort, scope or schedule).  The user may also select if they wish to view only current Status Reports, or to include historical reports as well. The portlet provides the project manager a single place to view all of the status reports without having to go into each project individually, and allows for more efficient management and reporting across projects. Note: Only the projects that the user has view rights to will show up in the list.
